A photographic reportage by Sri Kolari in collaboration with Auroville Art Service. On 25 March India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi has imposed a nationwide lockdown in an attempt to slow the spread of the coronavirus.

This video is part of the project, full story will be out by next week. Sri Kolari is an Aurovilian photojournalist. His work is about conflict afflicted regions across Asia, Africa and South America, and cover individuals and cultural groups affected by war, poverty and prejudice. His photography focuses on a wide range of social, political and economic issues such as the struggles of seasonal migrant workers, children in India, AIDS sufferers and their families, sex workers. His projects have been exhibited in Scotland, Croatia, Italy, France, Belgium and Cambodia as well as in many solo shows across India.
