The drummer is also a part of a Blues-Funk band called Deep Dawn and has been catalysing the House and Techno music scene around Pondicherry and Auroville.
His DJ sets are like a journey, moving through different styles such as Groovy Techno and House. Inspired by likes KiNK, Pan-Pot, Four Tet, Josh Wink and many more, Falcon combines their influence with his own signature sound to create a unique and energetic vibe that connects with the audience.
Absolutely new to Electronic Music production, since the summer of 2024 Falcon has released two EPs that blend the sounds of Progressive, Techno and Trance. He’s been collaborating with international artists such as Kara (Turkey) and Soulti (Australia) creating remixes/reinterpretations of their original tracks. While a large part of his DJ sets are not planned, he intends to develop live acts over time that are completely improvised on stage.

Whether it is electroscape, techno, hip-hop or raggaeton I create pieces, remix tracks and perform live sets made to dance or simply to be appreciated as a painted adventure.

Another side of my creative self is Capoeira. I started learning it in 2000 under Mestre Branco and created my own group in 2007.
From traditional to contemporary styles I explore the various facets of the Capoeira dice and like shifting from one to another. I am one of the teachers of Auroville Capoeira.

I also have a passion for making instruments such as didjeridoo, berimbau, pandeiro, reco-reco and others.

I studied Vis.Com./Arts in Germany and worked as Graphic Designer in Advertisement Agencies. After coming to Auroville in 1981, I continued design work including book publications, exhibitions and graphics. Since 1984, I worked in various art-forms:
– Oil Painting (with exhibitions in Auroville, Pondicherry, Chennai, Delhi, and Germany)
– Architecture (several houses in Auroville, projects, plans and models)
– Sculpture (in Terracotta, White Marble and Light-sculptures in Plexiglass)
as well as Music (drums and percussion…already in Germany, then here in Auroville in various bands).

In 1994, I started ‘Kalabhumi’ (the ‘Land of Arts’) in the heart of the Cultural Zone of Auroville – the beginning of a Cultural Centre with ateliers and studios for the education and practice of all forms of Art Expression. In the last few years (before 2012), the main work-focus was on Architecture and as member of the Town-Planning Group L’avenir d’Auroville/ Town Development Council. Since April 2012 I live in Germany and work on oil paintings, with exhibitions in November and December.

Since 1992 I am conducting the Auroville choir and the Auroville Children choir. Our repertoire includes classical and popular music, and musicals.

I have been teaching in Transition school since 1994.
