A plant endures winter, trusting that spring will come…again.

Spring Again is a physical theatre performance by Andres Fagiolino; a tribute to that moments of life, in which all of a sudden, everything changes forever.

This high-energy, 60-minute theatrical performance is a Perch production, directed by the acclaimed Rajiv Krishnan and performed by the dynamic trio Maya, Dharani, and Felix. Auroville, Tamil Nadu — Mark your calendars for a night of musical introspection and radical sonic poetry. On Saturday, 14th June 2025 at 7 PM, Dorian House will host a special edition of Live from The Pit, featuring the genre-blending ensemble Sage for The Ages.

The performance will celebrate the launch of their newly recorded album “R-EVOLUTION”, a collection of songs delving into urgent and reflective themes—climate, politics, memory, and protest—weaving meditative textures with acts of sonic defiance.

About the Band

Sage for the Ages is a poetic jazz ensemble navigating the deep terrains of improvisation, myth, and ecological memory. Their music is both meditation and movement, drawing from contemporary jazz, RnB, and ambient textures.

At the heart of their sound is a delicate tension between structure and spontaneity—crafted by a seasoned group of improvisers and composers:

Aman Mahajan – keyboards

Rudara Veena Concert

Join us as we immerse in the unique sounds of the Rudra Veena on Sunday, February 11th at 6:30pm at A Sunlit Path. We will have the pleasure of having Murali Mohan Gowda share with us this ancient instrument which produces a deep, resonant sound that is both soothing and profound. It is used in Dhrupad and is believed to have the power to evoke a wide range of emotions and moods and elevate the listener’s consciousness.

Murali started his musical journey a decade ago which took him to various teachers of music from various parts of India. He was trained by Pt.Srinivas Mukashi, a senior disciple Pt.Hariprasad Chaurasia, on the flute, in Bangalore. Later, he discovered his passion for multiple instruments and joined Dhrupad Sansthan, Bhopal where he spent ten years learning Dhrupad on the rudra veena and vocals from Pt. Ramakant Gundecha and Pt.Umakant Gundecha. During his stay in the Gurukul he made frequent trips to Udaipur and Kolkata to learn the intricacies of Dhrupad from Pt.Rajashekar Vyas and Pt.Asit Kumar Banerjee, respectively. After the sexual harassment allegations against Gundecha Brothers in 2020, Murali disassociated himself from the Dhrupad Sansthan.

The Sandbox Collective is happy to offer HALLUCINATIONS of an ARTIFACT by choreographer Mandeep Singh Raikhy. How does an ancient artifact think, move and respond to our current times? Hallucinations of an Artifact brings the Dancing Girl figurine from the Indus Valley civilization (c. 2300-1750 BCE) to life through dance and artificial intelligence. It pushes back at the multiple assertions that have been made on behalf of the figurine over the years. Can the Dancing Girl live, perspire, breathe, evolve and transform through dancing bodies?
