For the past five years, Nishtha has developed a systematic Sanskrit grammar that integrates the earlier Vedic grammar with the later Classical period, from the very beginning. This unique method is designed for students eager to explore the main source texts of India’s spiritual traditions — from the Rig Veda and the early and later Upanishads to the Bhagavad Gita.
Course Highlights:
🔸 Appreciate the historical background of Sanskrit through the rich Vedic contribution to its grammar.
🔸 Learn the first paradigms of verb conjugation and stem declension via a detailed analysis of the well-known shlokas:
Sarveśāṁ Svastir Bhavatu
Sarve Bhavantu Sukhinaḥ
🔸 Study basic Sanskrit pronouns (Sa, Sā, Tad, Tvam, Aham) and their subtle psycho-spiritual applications in text samples from the Veda, Upanishad, and Gita.
