Aurora’s Eye Films – Auroville
Aurora’s Eye Films is seeking a Sound Post-Production Artist (Sound Designer) to join our creative team in Auroville. We are producing independent films and web series with a focus on conscious storytelling, community, and the spirit of Auroville.
Role:
Part-time, based in Auroville
Focus on sound design, mixing, and polishing final audio tracks for film and web projects
Responsibilities:
Design and edit soundscapes that enhance the emotion and storytelling of our films
Mix and balance dialogue, music, and effects
Collaborate closely with the director/editor to achieve the desired sound atmosphere
Ensure final audio meets professional standards for both online and theatrical releases
Requirements:
Experience in sound post-production and sound design
Proficiency in industry-standard DAWs (Pro Tools, Logic, Reaper, or similar)
Creativity and sensitivity to film narratives
Ability to work independently while being open to collaboration
