Kookural is an experimental verbatim theatre piece built from survivor testimonies and legal records of the 2011 Keezsathamangalampet violence.

It exposes the gap between lived experience and institutional language, using silence, fragmentation and repetition to question how we listen — and what it means to witness.

On the self-defense aspect of it, an aggressor's attack may be stopped without harming or injuring him/her.
