Friday 28 and Saturday 29 August from 4 to 6 pm
“Dissonance” is a real-time interactive audio-visual installation that turns the human body into an instrument of distortion, by transforming an intimately familiar sound, into a reactive, malleable soundscape.
It asks viewers to step into the shoes of those navigating unseen mental health struggles. It illustrates how the symptoms of a panic attack or sensory overload can suddenly hijack the mind, showing how quickly a safe, mundane environment can fracture into psychological and auditory dissonance.
If you’d like to experience Dissonance, visit the Multimedia Room in Centre d’Art on 28 or 29 August, anytime from 4 to 6 pm.
Antara will guide you through the experience, inviting you into a space where sound, body, and perception begin to shift.
All are all welcome
