16 March,9.30 to 10.30 AMPavilion of Tibetan CultureTalk by Deepti, Sri Aurobindo and the Mother on the role of Art and artists. ‘Art as a Tapasya of Beauty’
Are there forms that might best embody the New world sought by the Art Camp?
Sri Aurobindo and the Mother assign a highest status to an art which serves as revealer and teacher of a quest for the All-Beautiful. The talk explores and highlights some of these luminous idea/forces.

To introduce the Artists invited from all over India to the special and unique place that is Auroville, to start the art camp placing the theme into its specific context, and giving to all the participating artists a wider perspective, we asked Deepti to give us her input on the subject.
