The first-ever Auroville Art Camp features artists and art students from across the country and Auroville.

The Art Camp focuses on the artists collaborating with and working on a specific theme — “A new world is possible” — taken from The Mother’s writings.

This broad theme can be explored in different ways outside cultural and/or knowledge differences.

During the week-long camp, which began on March 16, the artists will produce one art piece and participate in a number of public art events.

Interactions with the community are being held in the evenings, a press note from Auroville Art Camp team said.
