In the midst of it all, we had the good fortune to collaborate with Skrap , who provide solid waste management solutions, on a whole bunch of activities. One of which will be upcoming workshop on Learn to Make your own Cloth Pad! (Signup on https://insider.in/learn-to-stitch-your-own-cloth-pad-may31-2020/event)
The workshop will be conducted by our co-founder Jessamijn Miedema, and moderated by Shipra Agarwal, head of sustainability workshops at Skrap.
DIY cloth pads are a great way to repurpose your old cotton clothes. And since you’re stitching these yourself, you can customise these and select designs of your choice (pick a fun, quirky designs from your old cotton t-shirts) and a size that is comfortable for you. These are great for using yourself or for gifting to your loved ones.
This is an inclusive workshop and is open for everyone – gender and age no bar.
