DIFF Virtual Viewing Room, a year-round online platform where we regularly screen carefully curated packages of films from around the world, Dharamshala International Film Festival in collaboration with the Embassy of Spain, New Delhi, and The Instituto Cervantes present Enigma & Provocation: The Cinema of Luis Buñuel from 11–21 June 2021.
Five films by the Spanish master will be screened, providing a wonderful opportunity for cineastes to be introduced to—or renew their acquaintance with—one of cinema’s original and enduring legends.
The films will only be available to audiences in India. Please note the screenings schedule:
11 – 12 June: Viridiana
13 – 14 June: The Exterminating Angel
15 – 21 June: The Discreet Charm of the Bourgeoisie, Belle de Jour, and Tristana

Do tune in to a special conversation between philologist and journalist David Felipe Arranz, and independent researcher Iyesha Geeth Abbas on 19 June, Saturday at 5 pm. This will be followed by a Q&A session.
