In 1969 the Mother of the Sri Aurobindo Ashram of Pondicherry send Vincenzo Maiolini to France to bring people and equipment to start an experimental city in the south of India. 15 people will answer the call and leave Paris on August 15th, 1969. Two months and few accidents later they reach a barren plateau which will become 50 years later the vibrant city of Auroville. The exhibition is the story of their journey as the first pioneers.
