Kalinka Art Residency (Pondicherry) is inviting visual artists and authors from around the globe for a time and space away from their usual environment and obligations, providing a time of reflection, research, presentation and immersion in a new culture.
Kalinka wishes to emphasize the importance of meaningful cultural exchange and immersion into Indian culture and more specifically, Tamil culture.
Artists are given an opportunity to find inspiration and create freely in a beautiful environment. They will also have the opportunity to exhibit their work at the end of the residency at Kalinka Art Gallery in Pondicherry.

Kalinka is a contemporary art gallery located in the heritage part of Pondicherry showing works by both Indian and International artists.
The intent is to help discovering new talents or confirmed artists whether painters, photographers or sculptors with a deliberatly eclectic orientation to allow their different worlds to meet, in across cultural approach.
