1) Paper-mache workshop:

Date and Time: Friday and Saturday, August 16 and 17, from 9:30 – 12:00 am and 1:30 – 4:00 pm
Description: An artistic encounter towards transforming waste paper. Learn how to make paper pulp, create your mould and give shape to your paper-mache ideas.
Location: Auroville Papers, Aspiration, Auroville
Auroville Papers is a handmade paper and paper products making factory located in Aspiration Community in Auroville. Auroville Papers has focused its 20+ years of experimentation and experience on ecologically sustainable practices, workshops in papermaking and more and producing finely crafted and inventive paper and products such as stationary, jewelry, paper- mache sculptures, flowers and much more.

Description: An introduction to the ancient art of paper making. Learn how to turn plants and weeds into pulp and make your own paper.
