Pure Photo is a photographic exhibition consisting of traditional analogue photos by Future School and Transition School students. They are a collection of darkroom prints from negatives, Pin Hole Camera Photos and Photograms.
The students have been learning analogue photography over the last 12 months. They have been taken through the History of Photography, learned to use Pin Hole Cameras and the beauty of Photograms. They also got to use the Box Brownie, Range Finder Camera, Twin Lens Reflex, and Single Lens Reflex Cameras.
The prints in this exhibition are Pure Photos with no alterations whatsoever. They are unpretentious with all blemishes and faults intact. All of which are evidence of the Silver Gelatin Photographic process.
