Silent Reading Club

Pondy Reads is a new reading community based in Pondicherry. Inspired by similar communities such as Madras Reads, Bessy Reads, and Coimbatore Reads, and many others, we are hoping to create a community of readers here in our city.

As a first step in building this community, we are starting our Silent Reading Club on 10th May 2026, Sunday from 3:00 – 5:00 PM at Cantos Social House in Pondicherry (please find the promotional poster attached). This will be completely free for everyone. Anyone (above the age of eighteen) can bring their book(s), join us and read with us in silent companionship.

Our team is trying to spread the word about this, and it is in this regard that we want to approach you. Can you please let us know if you can help us with reaching more people? Any help you can extend to us would greatly contribute to building this community, and we would be very grateful for your support and kindness.
