from the Unity Pavilion:
We are deciding what to do with a peace-related art installation which is currently living at Unity Pavilion. The wire/fabric structure was hand-assembled by an Australian volunteer, Sarah, and myself with a lot of love. It is covered scrap fabric materials from various units in the area, each as a prayer of sorts for peace, and then layered with hand tracings made by dozens of children and adults, both at the Art Cart over weeks and at Unity during their Peace Day event and exhibition.
I am attaching a couple photos here (one of it in process and the second with it hanging in the background)- it is a particular piece and it can bring some color, life, energy and support to your work, school or other space.
