THE SAPTAK SCHOOL OF INDIAN CLASSICAL MUSIC PRESENTS AN ONLINE MUSIC FESTIVAL

Vishwamangal – the 41^st Saptak annual music festival, from 1 – 13^th Jan.

The 41st edition of annual Saptak music festival will be held in a virtual format online from 1 January to 13th January 2021. The festival this year is titled “Vishwa-mangal” means global well being. Every year we start the new year with beautiful music. It fosters social bonding and collective spiritual homage. The pandemic has snatched away that stage. So, we have decided to create a new vast stage – Saptak Annual Music Festival – Vishwamangal. The year 2021 will be also the 100th birth anniversary of late legendary Tabla maestro Pandit Samta Prasad. On this occasion we will pay our tributes to him. We will usher in the New Year by evoking the spirit of well-being, brotherhood and peace with divine music literally on a stage without Borders. The restrictions posed due to the pandemic has also given us an opportunity to reach out to global audiences and make our music accessible with the help of technology. We sincerely hope to welcome you at our 42nd edition of Annual Saptak Festival on the 1st January 2022 in Ahmedabad, India.
