Yantra Retreat

Exploring the four Aspects of the Mother as per the Tantra Tradition

Sacred Geometry and Symbology

In this workshop, we explore –

–  Sacred Geometry method of Drawing Yantras

– Delving into the Four Aspects of the Mother in the Tantra Tradition

– Connecting with the Goddess through journalling / concentration

A four session exploration on the sacred symbology of the Yantra exploring the four aspects of the Mother in the tantra tradition as well as the Integral Yoga. We draw yantras and understand the symbolic and spiritual significance of each aspect.

A ‘yantra’ is a geometric design, used since ancient times for contemplation, concentration and meditation. The word means instrument or machine, and is derived from the Sanskrit ‘yam’, meaning to support, and ‘tra’, meaning expansion.

Making a Yantra can leave one feeling centred, calm and connected. This practise activates both hemispheres of the brain and is a tool for concentration and meditation practice.
