“ISLANDS IN FLUX – The Andaman and Nicobar Story” – (Non-Fiction), Harper Collins India, March 2017
Welcome for a talk and book reading from Pankaj’s book followed by questions/answer session. This book is a compilation of writings on key issues and developments in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands over the last two decades. He has a long standing association with these Islands, being a member of the Environment Action Group known as KALPAVRIKSH PANKAJ SEKHSARIA, PhD., a friend and associate of an Aurovilian in the field of biodiversity conservation. Apart from being a reputed journalist, is a researcher, writer, photographer, campaigner and academic. He has worked extensively in the field of
environment and wild life conservation. He has launched his earlier book in Pondicherry, “The Last Wave – an Island Novel”, Fiction, Harper Collins India May 2014.
He is also known for his two earlier non-fiction books based on the Islands: Troubled Islands (2003), a collection of his journalistic writings, and the Jarawa Tribal Reserve Dossier for UNESCO: Cultural and biological diversity in the Andamans.
