Applications are invited to the Art Mediation Programme at the 2018 Kochi-Muziris Biennale.
The function of the mediation team will be to facilitate contact with the artworks at the Biennale exhibition for the visitors. Responsibilities include conducting guided tours of the exhibition for the diverse public of the Biennale, and participating in the research programme set by the relevant office of the Foundation.
Members will receive specialised instruction with the exhibitions and research team at the Kochi Biennale Foundation. Training will also include working with the rest of the team to produce the exhibition as well as the programming at the Biennale.
Candidates must demonstrate a keen interest in contemporary art practices and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and/or Malayalam.
Location: Fort Kochi, Kerala
Duration: Nov 2018 – Mar 2019
Remuneration: Rs 12,000 per month + shared accommodation
