On the occasion of Holi, the festival colors, Arpanaa brings to the community a music concert by one of the prominent young musicians of her generation ~ Priya Purshothaman.
A Hindustani vocalist of the Agra gharana, she has trained under Vidushi Aditi Upadhya, Pandit Sudhindra Bhaumik, and Agra gharana stalwart Pandit Dinkar Kaikini. Priya will include in her recital select compositions on the theme of holi.
Post the performance the artist has agreed to engage in a short interactive session. This will be a wonderful opportunity to understand the creative process of a musician on stage.
Priya will be accompanied on the table by Sagar Bharathraj and on the harmonium by Tejas Katoti.
