About this exhibition:

“Photography is a powerful medium of self-expression and communication, allowing us to capture the beauty and essence of the world around us. With the aim of encouraging more young ones to explore this medium, students of Deepanam School were taken through a photography workshop that introduced them to the basics of digital image making.

Over the course of 7 sessions, the students were introduced to photography concepts like Shutter speed, Aperture, ISO, Composition styles, Principles of art. They were also introduced to the many different fields of photography, like landscape, architecture, portraiture and more.

IN FOCUS is the culmination of the workshop, where we are displaying our young photographers’ skills and creativity, and celebrating the unique perspectives of this next generation of artists!

We hope our students inspire more children in the community towards self expression and following their creative passions.”
