In the January of 2025, Kara (Turkey) visited Auroville and connected with Mehul (Galactic Falcon) who quickly managed to organise a concert for Kara with the Kalabhumi Music studio team on a weeks notice. During this live performance Kara performed many of his released and unreleased original tracks, one of which sustained quite a resonance for Mehul (despite a language barrier). Soon after Kara left India, Mehul reached out to Kara to remix the song in House Music style.
The song includes shamanic chantings from Altai Mountains and Old Turkic.
Karahan Kadırman, also known as Kara, blends ethnic-electronic, new age, synth-dream-ambient, funk, and electro dance-trance styles in his music. As a composer, songwriter, and vocalist, he also plays alto saxophone, ney, synthesizer, percussion, and computer-based instruments. Kara’s songs merge two worlds through their lyrics and music.
Mehul aka Galactic Falcon, a seasoned drummer recently turned House music Producer and DJ, with a unique sound and strong grooves built into multi-genre styled tracks. He has been catalysing the House and Techno music scene in Pondicherry and Auroville and slowly developing a community of House Music Producers from the Bioregion.
His DJ performances are a journey, moving through different styles such as Groovy Techno, Disco, and House. Inspired by likes of KiNK, Pan-Pot, Four Tet, Josh Wink and many more, Falcon combines their influence with his own signature sound to create a unique and energetic vibe that makes the audience groove. Barely a few months old into Electronic Music production, since the summer of 2024 Falcon has produced above 14 tracks and has been working on remixes for international artists from different genres including Kara (Turkey).
