JOB TITLE: ART AND RESOURCE MANAGER – ADISHAKTI THEATRE ARTS
JOB DESCRIPTION:
As the Art and Resource Manager at Adishakti Theatre Arts, you will play a vital role in the smooth operation and growth of the organization. Your responsibilities will involve managing internal and external communications, coordinating logistics for performances, and ensuring successful collaborations with artists, venues, and festivals. You will help oversee schedules, plan performance tours, and foster relationships that advance the goals of Adishakti.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Office Management: Oversee the daily operations of Adishakti’s office, ensuring effective communication, administration, and scheduling for all ongoing activities.
2. Artist & Venue Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact between Adishakti and artists, venues, and festivals. Engage in correspondence, manage relationships, and maintain clear and timely communication regarding performance details.
3. Tour Planning & Coordination: Plan, organize, and manage national and international performance tours for Adishakti. This includes identifying potential venues and festivals, coordinating logistics, and liaising with various stakeholders to ensure successful tour execution.
4. Scheduling: Develop and maintain schedules for Adishakti’s internal activities, artist rehearsals, performances, workshops, and collaborations, ensuring smooth operations.
5. Collaboration & Outreach: Coordinate with artists, guests, and collaborators to facilitate partnerships, guest appearances, and external collaborations based on Adishakti’s infrastructure and outreach possibilities.
6. Festival & Venue Outreach: Identify potential festivals and venues for Adishakti’s productions. Write proposals, follow up with organizations, provide necessary documents and information, and coordinate the logistics for the performances.
7. Public Relations: Manage public relations efforts by coordinating communication between Adishakti and external organizations, festival directors, and media outlets, ensuring the institute’s visibility and representation.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
Experience in arts management, festival coordination, or a related field.
Knowledge of logistics, scheduling, and public relations within the performing arts industry.
Proficiency in managing artist relations, scheduling, and tour coordination.
This role requires a proactive, organized, and dynamic individual who can support Adishakti in reaching new audiences and enhancing its global presence.
Experience in Proposal Writing would be preferred.
Residence in a beautiful traditional guesthouse on the campus and all meals for the day will be provided by Adishakti. Monetary Compensation is 20k per month.
