📅 On view until April 22nd
We’re excited to invite you to a unique and visually captivating exhibition at Pitanga: “Trees – Their Outer Garment”. This remarkable show features the bark — or “outer garment” — of over 30 trees, primarily from Auroville, with a few from further afield.
As the first exhibition of its kind in Auroville, it offers a fresh perspective on the quiet beauty and individuality of trees. Alongside the striking photographs, you’ll find a thought-provoking summary of Peter Wohlleben’s The Secret Life of Trees, as well as a gentle nudge to deepen your connection with the natural world, inspired by the website How to Talk to Trees.
Whether you’re a frequent visitor or someone who stops by occasionally, don’t miss this special exhibition. Come experience the silent poetry of trees — we think you’ll find it well worth your time.
