Auroville ceramic artist Supriya Menon Menenghetti has curated the work of 15 artists for an exhibition in Italy. Creta Yuga (Clay Age – a combination of the Italian work CRETA for Claya nd the Sanskrit word YUGA for age), a ceramic exhibition at Argilla ’16 features 15 contemporary ceramic artists from India. The selected artists represent a variety of ceramic art practices and come from different schools of ceramic art in India. All the works in this exhibition have been made in India, using materials which are mostly local.
