Tribute to the Maestro on occasion of his centenary
On the occasion of the birth centenary of the maestro, Satyajit Ray, film academician Deb Kamal Ganguly, will analyse in detail four of Ray’s films in terms of cinematic construction, along with opening up their nuanced and subtle comments on the social realities of the respective narrative times, spread from late 19th century to mid 20th century.
