This is one of four pieces making up the ‘Rain Suite’ originally written for flute and keyboard, here played with a piano. This is No.2, ‘Rain in the forest’, portraying the first rains in a tropical lush green forest. After a hot dry summer, this is a happy and joyful moment, as everything comes back to life.
