This 2-day workshop will dive into the life and work of poet Naomi Shihab Nye. Each session will feature close readings of selected poems, an exploration of poetic craft, and writing prompts inspired by Nye’s work. The workshop is for beginner-level poetry enthusiasts eager to deepen their engagement with this rich art form.
