Visual Arts Programme

About the Course
Established in 2024, the Visual Arts Programme offers a four-year Bachelor’s Degree and a two-year Master’s Degree. The curriculum is designed to deepen understanding and appreciation of Indian culture, heritage, conservation, and the preservation of Indian art practices.

Students explore traditional craftsmanship such as:

  • Terracotta Art

  • Kalamkari Painting

  • Tanjore Painting

  • Indian Mural Traditions

The course includes study of the language, skills, and materials of Indian visual art, along with exposure to Asian and global art practices. Emphasis is placed on sustainability, public art, and upcycling practices, fostering environmental awareness through creative expression.

Collaborations:
MoUs have been signed with Auroville and Indira Gandhi National Centre for Arts (IGNCA), New Delhi, to facilitate knowledge exchange and skill development.

  • B.V.A. – Bachelor of Visual Arts (Painting) – 4 Years

  • M.V.A. – Master of Visual Arts (Painting) – 2 Years
