I grew up alongside Auroville. As I began to discover who I am, I experienced Auroville, my home, trying to do the same through its built environment. Conversations about ‘the City of Dawn’, the ‘City the Earth Needs’ were all around me, and I decided that I would participate in the effort to build the city.

In 2018, I enrolled in a Bachelor’s of Urban Design course at CEPT University, India, a multidisciplinary course geared towards developing skills to design public spaces and

rethinking the nature of our future urban habitats.

I am passionate about exploring the power of maps as visual tools of storytelling. My present research revolves around urban life through mapping, at the intersection between public space and human behaviour. I believe the more we understand our patterns as citizens, the better we will be able to design our cities!

Since 2022, I have been committed to making the language of urbanism more familiar and interesting to the residents and youth of Auroville through various exhibitions, workshops and courses.
