Company Wayne McGregor will tour their production FAR across India, during November – December 2017. To compliment this tour, the British Council is hosting a 3-day workshop in Lighting Design and Operation Skills, hosted at the Attakkalari Centre for Movement Arts in Bengaluru. The workshop will be delivered by UK lighting design expert Michael Mannion on 19, 20 and 21 September, 2017.
The workshop will cover areas such as:
Lighting, its physical properties, controlled lighting
Lighting design physical elements of design
Plotting cues
Use of colour
Participants will also be able to work on practical briefs and project, executing designs. Some participants may also be interested in the opportunity to shadow UK technicians working on the Company Wayne McGregor FAR tour, in either Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata or Bengaluru.
