Gordon will give a performance of Indian Flute music titled that will be a combination of story and music. Gordon began learning Carnatic music as an early Aurovilian, learning from teachers in Pondicherry. He then returned to the USA where he studied world music at Wesleyan University.
For many years he performed in the Carnatic music group Kirtana.
He now plays with Joel Eisenkramer, a Hindustani slide guitarist.
He will also describe this musical journey and play some of the music that he has learned at each of its stages.
